Craft Blend weighs about 8.3 Ounces per cup ~ 1/2 pound per cup
- Brew All Around Balanced Nutrient Tea's for Veg - Flower (1/4 - 1 Cup Per 5 gallon Bucket of Water)
- Re-Amend your used Organic Soil at 1/2 - 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot
- Top Dress at 1/4 - 1 Cup Per Plant.
Craft Blend isn’t a random mix of organic inputs. It’s a deliberately balanced amendment designed to feed the soil biology first, so the plant can take what it needs when it needs it. Below is a breakdown of the core ingredients and what they actually do in a living soil system.
Thorvin Premium Kelp Meal
A cold-processed kelp meal rich in natural growth hormones and trace minerals. Kelp supports root development, stress resistance, and overall plant vitality without forcing growth. It’s a foundational biological stimulant, not a fertilizer shortcut.
Black Soldier Fly Insect Frass
Insect frass feeds soil microbes and adds gentle nutrition with extremely low heavy metal content. Think of it as a biological catalyst, it helps wake up the soil food web and supports healthier nutrient cycling.
Alfalfa Meal
A natural nitrogen source with growth-promoting compounds that encourage vigorous vegetative development. Alfalfa also improves soil structure, making it easier for roots to explore and access nutrients.
Organic High-P Bran
A phosphorus-rich input that supports root development and flowering. This ingredient plays a key role later in the cycle, helping plants transition into bloom without sharp nutrient swings.
Camelina Meal

Crustacean Meal

Ingredients We Avoid (On Purpose)
At Green Zone, we care just as much about what’s not in a product as what is. Many so-called “organic” amendments are technically approved for organic use but sourced from places we don’t believe belong in living soil.
Craft Blend intentionally avoids:
- Steamed Bone Meal – Byproducts from industrial slaughterhouses
- Blood Meal – Same sourcing concerns as bone meal
- Chicken Manure – Rarely sourced from truly organic-fed birds
- Feather Meal – Another manure-derived byproduct
- Biosolids – Treated municipal human waste sold as fertilizer
Even when labeled “organic,” these inputs often come with sourcing and contamination concerns that don’t align with long-term soil health.
